rungirl911 September 23, 2014 Share September 23, 2014 (edited) Finished the ep last night. I went through all three seasons via Netflix dvd's in record time. I really LOVED the finale. I have my fiancé hooked on it too and we are ready for tonight's premiere! I think I like Amy Acker as an actress so I am ok with Root, though agree it's a bit much for her to be the savior of the group. All I could think the entire episode "don't kill Bear. Please don't kill Bear. Don't you shoot Bear". My future brother in law's puppy passed away yesterday so I was really just NOT in a mental state to handle it at all. Camryn Manheim was CRAZY awesome. I got flashbacks to the Practice when she stood up to tell Collier to "...quit the histrionics, Counselor" She is a hero, one who is flawed as hell, but my god, her speech on the stand gave me chills! AimingforYoko September 23, 2014 Share September 23, 2014 She is a hero Let's not get carried away. She's a very strong character, but she also ordered the murders of Shaw and her partner just for possibly knowing of the existence of The Machine. And then there's the crude stapedectomy she performed on Root. To paraphrase Jon Cusack in Grosse Pointe Blank, she has a certain "moral flexibility". 1 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/6702-s03e23-deus-ex-machina/page/2/#findComment-402466
