And to get back on topic:

Twins (1925): As a man leaves for a business trip, his identical twin brother Stan arrives in town (both played by Stan Laurel). People mistake one for the other, and complications ensue concerning Stan's fiancée and his brother's jealous wife.

Twins (1988): A physically perfect but innocent man goes in search of his long-lost twin brother, who turns out to be a short, womanizing, small-time crook.
