The ZLVNG network is showing four episodes each day.  I’m watching it on ATT uverse, but saw other companies also have this channel.  Enjoy!

Thanks! For those not in the know, this network can - besides some cable operators - be found on Sling if you are a user..

By the way, it looks like ZLiving is showing the entire series. My Sling virtual DVR is in Season 5 now, but upcoming episodes list Season 6. So if anyone has that channel and wants to see the entire series, this seems to be the way.

I was a big fan of this show during the Chris & Rita years.  I remember in season 5 that TV Guide previewed (basically spoiled) everything that was coming up with a feature article.  I was so excited when I read that Chris and Rita were going to get together...and then I read the rest of the article.  I was grateful that they spoiled it though, because I decided I would just stop watching before Chris was shot and then delusionally pretend it didn't happen because I didn't see it happen!  I remember that I had my hand on the remote to change the channel in the episode where they got married, but then there was a commercial previewing Chris's demise the next week (with some announcer promising "It will haunt you for days!" which didn't exactly inspire me to change my mind about watching), so I knew I was safe for the rest of the episode.

Back around this time when USA was showing repeats (each day I think), I found it very odd that they started censoring words in season 5 episodes that hadn't been censored when they originally aired and weren't being censored in earlier shows.  The cases centered around sex and murder, but oh no, no one can say a bad word!  But in one episode, there was a scene where someone screamed something very nasty in Spanish, and clearly the censors had no clue.  This made me laugh.

By the way, if you do not have Sling but have a Roku, the ZLiving channel has a channel on the device where you can live stream the channel and watch Silk Stalkings, Hunter, and Wiseguy, among other shows on their schedule.

So, ZLiving is currently in the middle of airing the latter S5, post-Chris/Rita episodes with Michael/Holly. It's been ages since I dug out my DVDs (and I rarely watched these particular episodes when I do!), and I can still easily see why this team only lasted half a season.

No chemistry, and the energy level was low.

(Watched a few to determine if the initial feeling was entirely because they replaced Chris/Rita, and no.)

Ugh...I almost wish they had finished the series with Chris/Rita...probably would have had a better ending for them...they made the readings what they were...or at least let them be happy in witness protection...never like holly or michael—boring like you said so never gave the other 2 a chance.

always bugged me to that they never mentioned Rita or the baby ever again...

Well, in the final Holly/Michael episode, where Captain Lipschitz was considering retiring, he did mention the fact that Chris dying and Rita leaving were factors. (Ultimately, he did stay.) And he did mention Chris in the Season 6 episode, "Exit The Dragon" (with Cassy/Tom). Good episode.

I watched those two episodes...and enjoyed them. Might try to watch some more. Wish Mitzi wouldn’t have mentioned talking about calls about reunions so I didn’t get my hopes up for a fix 🤣

If you have a Roku, not only can you stream the show on the ZLiving channel, as already discussed, but the show also airs on the Pluto channel on its Crime Drama station. (While ZLiving is airing Season 6 now, Pluto is airing Season 2 episodes.)

So, I was watching some Season 5 via the Roku Channel, and I had forgotten that Lana Clarkson was in the episode, "Tricks of the Trade" (the one where Chris went undercover as a male escort!). If her name sounds familiar, she was the one murdered by famous record producer, Phil Spector, at his mansion back in 2003.

To think her tragic end was even more fantastical than anything this show dreamed up.  😞

I just discovered a few minutes ago that I have the ZLIVING channel.  It's way up there in the channel numbers.  But the guide doesn't list the episode descriptions; it just says that the show is "smut," ha ha.  Online in listings it says, "A policewoman and her partner solve crimes of passion."

Yeah, I watched tonight via my Roku. It just started Season 8, the final season. Looking back, I can see why it got the axe at the end of this season. The first episode of S8 dealt with, of all things, a homicidal ventriloquist dummy. Yes.

While the plots were NEVER Hemingway, at least they dealt with the seedier side of ritzy Palm Beach, albeit with lots of skin. But the plots Tom and Cassy got versus Chris and Rita (and even Michael and Holly, yes...ZLiving shows all episodes!) often did them no favors.

(Another Season 6 episode with Cassy/Tom dealt with vampires as another example.)

Thanks for telling what season they are on.  When I discovered the channel in listings, it was toward the end of a 6 PM episode, and I figured with my luck, I would turn over just in time to see Chris die!

They show four episodes a day, two in the afternoon, and two more from 8:00 p.m.-10:00 p.m. ET, so the seasons run at a fast clip. Hunter airs right after this show, so that's two shows I like.

Doubt anyone will read this, but eh! I decided to go "old school" and watch some Silk Stalkings on Hulu. I ended up watching, at one point, "Cadillac Jack" from S4, the episode where Rita's friend was seeing a married man and killed in "Margaritaville" and meets cops Jack and Savannah, investigating the case.

Out of curiosity, I looked up some of the actors from the episode, and I was stunned to learn that Meg Wittner, who played Savannah, was born in 1950! I thought she was a contemporary of Rob Estes and Mitzi Kapture, both born in the early '60s. So Wittner had a good 12 years on them. But you'd never know it!

Great genes, I guess!

As an aside, if we had to have another pair to finish S5 with Kapture and Estes' departures, maybe the show should have brought Jack and Savannah back. But then there likely would not have been the need for the third pairing/recasts with Chris Potter/Tom and Janet Gunn/Cassy.

There were some actors that got some good PR for appearing on Silk Stalkings

I see Gilbert Gottfried has passed away. Not only was he one of the hosts of USA Up All Nite, but in a bit of cross-network synergy, he appeared twice on Silk Stalkings, once in "The Mud Queen Murders" and in another episode I am blanking on as a mechanic, who was also a cohort of Cotton Dunn's.

May he RIP!

He was a damn good guest star with his special comedic talents. I remember when he was on Beverly Hills Cop II with Eddie Murphy. His little performance there was outstanding.

If you do not have the long out of print Anchor Bay DVDs and the separate Seasons 6 through 8 set, VEI has released a complete series set for $39.99.

I was not a fan of seasons 6-8. The first 5 1/2 seasons were very stylistic, with the use of very graphic sex appeal. But it was the good plots, well written scripts and the detailed production that made the show popular. Seasons 6-8 and the end of 5 were just so cheaply made it was like watching LMN movies

Since it was so inexpensive, I double dipped and pulled the trigger on the VEI Complete Series set, if just to have everything in one place. (As I said, I double dipped, as I have the out-of-print Anchor Bay DVDs from S1-5 and that Ryan/St. John S6-8 set.)

The packaging is a lot smaller than I had expected, but that's a positive thing, as it makes the box easier to store.

(I have a region-free Blu-Ray/DVD player, so I also have the Australian Law & Order: Criminal Intent Complete Series Box Set, and THAT is very large, so I really like the smaller packaging for this Silk Stalkings set.)

Didn't look any cheaper to me, but mileage, I know.

Still, another good reason for this set (IMO!) is because thankfully, the discs are all SINGLE-sided. The Anchor Bay 4th and 5th season DVDs were the awful double-sided "flipper" discs, and they would always freeze up and/or pixelate on me, so I'm glad that was rectified with the newer set.

If you have a region-free DVD player, it seems the series has now also been released in France with English and French soundtracks!

There seem to be individual season sets and a set containing Seasons 1-4. [Don't ask me why the other 5 seasons aren't included. Then again, the listing says Volume 1, so guessing the rest will be Volume 2! Although I would have grouped S5 with the first volume.]
