gswan February 12, 2017 Share February 12, 2017 Over on IMDB, which recently announced it was closing its message boards, I drafted an ascii diagram of the time excursions we knew about. I updated it, as more episodes were broadcast. 2150 \ b /x/ \ b /x/ \ b /x/ 2077 \e b /x/ \ b /x/ 203x \ bmmmmm /x/ \ b mmmmm /x/ 2037 \ Bb mmmmm /x/ \ b mmmmm /x/ \ b mmmmmm /x/ \ b , mmmmmm /x/ 2014A \ b mmmmmm /x/ \ b m/?/ \ b /G/ \ b /G/ 2014L \ b /G/ \ b /G/ \ b /G/ 2014K \ b R\ /G/ \ b R\ /G/ \ b R\ /G/ \ b R\/G/ 2014R \ b y// \ b /R/ \ b /R/ 2014N \ yR/ \ /// \ /// 2012 y// /// /// /// /// /// /// The left-most branch is the one we saw in episode 1.1, where Alec Sadler sends time travelers to meet him in his youth, in 2012. The next branch is one where, in 2037, Kellogg send Brad to 2014. The next branch is the Red Branch, it includes the last couple of episodes of season two. According to the Freelancers, it "collapsed" -- whatever that means. I marked it "R" in the diagram, for "Red". The next branch is marked "m", for "Marcellus", the squad leader of a half dozen very heavily armed super-soldiers. Explanations of the times along left axis 2150 -- Catherine claims this is when the Freelancers formed; 2077 -- Execution Day -- Alec Sadler sends Liber8 to 2012 (ep 1.1); 203x -- Kellogg dispatches Marcellus, and his squad, because Brad used the beacon signal his failure. 2037 -- Kellogg sends back Brad, his own time traveler, from a different distopia (ep 3.11); 2014A-- In the very last moments of episode 3.13, in response to beacon set out by Brad, the New Guy From Another Time, six massive, heavily armored super-soldiers arrive. 2014L -- Kiera allies with Liber8 (ep 3.11) 2014K -- Red Alec and Red Kiera leave the Red branch of time 2014R -- Red Alec and Red Kiera arrives 2014N -- The New Guy From Another Time arrives 2012 -- Kiera and Liber8 arrive Why do I put the founding of the Freelancers in the same branch of time as Execution Day? Because in one episode we see a flashback to 2077, where Freelancer Warren tries to prevent the Sadler time excursion -- I think this strongly implies this is the Freelancer branch of time. The branches of time that end with question marks? If we accept Catherine's claim that a branch of time can "collapse" when a historically important person leaves it, then these branches may too have collapsed -- whatever that means. 5 Link to comment
