Sandman January 4, 2017 Share January 4, 2017 Definitely a mileage question (full disclosure: I've never gotten the appeal of Tim Roth; he just rubs me the wrong way); I think that show emphasized the "natural gift" that Raymund's character was supposed to have for reading people, to the point where it became a Mary Sue attribute. So I'd say the writing was definitely part of it. I don't find Raymund especially one-note, though.
