GHScorpiosRule November 22, 2016 Share November 22, 2016 I expected better, much better of this show, considering it had the same writers for the duration of the series. First, we had the retcon of Jules' family history, because, why? To show that Shawn was just like her father? A conman deadbeat? When it was spelled out in the second episode that her parents had been married for 30 years, and that she had two cats, as Shawn "read" Juliet in the opening scene? To make it darker? When the lightness of the show was the best part. Roday said it himself, how do you make murder funny? I'm sure there was other stuff, but I've just gone through the entire series in one week. Thank you Insomnia. And like I posted in the season five thread, at this point, I'm just watching for the friendship of Shawn and Gus, and even that's a little sad because of how they've made Shawn more and more unlikeable. Though the season finale is pretty good, "Santa Barbara Town." We learn that Henry really is Shawn's hero. And dayum but does Rob Estes look great. I'm also enjoying every time Gus starts sympathy crying, screaming into the night, and the dances that he and Shawn both do. 1 Link to comment
andromeda331 January 4, 2018 Share January 4, 2018 I loved the scene with Shawn and Gus with airport security where Gus is trying to explain what his wand is. I love how upset he gets while also being angry at the guard not knowing what it was or the broom. As a crazy maniac fan of another popular franchise I feel your pain Gus. 3 Link to comment
kitmerlot1213 June 3, 2018 Share June 3, 2018 I think Declan and his whole ridiculous relationship with Juliet ruined the episodes he was in, especially his super-manipulative "I just need to be honest and tell Juliet everything even when it isn't my secret to tell" and Juliet's thinking he's adorable. Their relationship was a farce from the get go and it really diminished Juliet, which is a damn shame. 1 Link to comment
