ShannaB November 2, 2015 Share November 2, 2015 New movie released on pay-per-view starring Kurt Russell. It's a Western and Kurt Russell does 'Western' very well. I read a review somewhere that basically said that this movie is a cross between SEARCHERS and HANNIBAL and I can buy that... and I DID buy it on PPV. Great purchase for me because there was nice character development and some horror. The cast committed and it made the movie work. I didn't even realize that Richard Jenkins played the 'official assistant deputy sheriff' until halfway through the film and I just love it when an actor bleeds into the character. This is an Indie film and it probably has some faults but I was absorbed in the storytelling and characters so I couldn't be bothered to notice. There is a horror aspect to the film and if you are squeamish then you may want to pass on this film. I loved it and I could see it becoming a cult classic. gaPeach November 4, 2015 Share November 4, 2015 I saw this movie on PPV because I got a free movie compliments of ATT. Thank you ATT! I love anything Kurt Russell and he did not disappoint. Movie did have great character development and was not heavy handed on the gore. At least not to me but I am a hard core WD fan so maybe I am somewhat jaded. Story moved along and did not stall at any point. I will be happy to see it come to HBO or whatever move channel as I will watch again.
