Training Montages and Young Offspring: Harbingers Of Doom?

I watch this show regularly. I'm not a fanatic, but I do watch it enough to feel real bad when something goes very wrong for a competitor. Two harbingers of doom are obviously:

-Long training montage and interview.

-The whole family, specifically young offspring, showing up.

Please list your other favorite ANW harbingers of doom.

(I'd also like to say that I'd be very appreciative if ANW stopped showing the crying children of defeated contestants. It's cruel, unnecessary, and I feel really guilty for being amused by it.)

I hate the arrogant people. One person last season was like "I can do this in the fastest time", I cheered when he fell.

Blueray - agreed.  That would be my harbinger - -the whole 'I'll be the fastest" trope.
