Actionmage April 13, 2015 Share April 13, 2015 A good number of recurring characters survived the first season; some did not. Here is where we can talk about them! ( The title came from this Cuba Gooding, Jr. quote: "Don't let people disrespect you. My mom says don't open the door to the devil. Surround yourself with positive people.") -------------------------------- Here is a partial list of folks who survive to recur later (yay!): *Turk Berrett, the Jack of All Criminal Trades, played by Rob Morgan *Father Lantom, a confidante of Matthew's, played by Peter McRobbie *Marci Stahl, Foggy's ex, played by Amy Rutberg *Sgt. Brett Mahoney, frenemy of Foggy, played by Royce Johnson *Josie, owner of the eponymous bar where the Nelson& Murdock office goes to unwind, played by Susan Varon *Ellison, Ben Urich's editor, played by Geoffrey Cantor *Doris Urich, Ben's wife, played by Adriane Lennox *Mrs.Vistain, played by Phyllis Somerville *Shirley Benson, a boss/administrator at the hospital, played by Suzanne H. Smart Also, I enjoyed Mr. Melvin Potter, played by Matt Gerald. I was glad that there were folks I enjoyed that survived. Even if I don't like Turk, I enjoyed seeing where he popped up next. I feel that, if done sparingly, that Doris and Ms. Vistain could be used as Unknowing Keepers of Truth/Facts/Secrets. Doris might help on the news side, w/r/t older pieces she remembers Ben writing. Mrs. Vistain knows equally telling things that could help or hind situations, depending on who is asking questions. Link to comment

Affogato August 1, 2021 Share August 1, 2021 Vanessa's ability to match Fisk with Rabbit in a Snowstorm and Matt with the fiery painting makes me wonder if she has some ability to see into the soul that could make for an interesting story line. Link to comment
