HalcyonDays January 8, 2015 Share January 8, 2015 Sisko builds a replica of an ancient Bajoran space vessel and with Jake attempts to prove that the Bajorans developed interstellar travel before Cardassians. Link to comment
Maverick January 13, 2015 Share January 13, 2015 Kind of a slow episode. The A plot with Sisko was ok. It's interesting to see him in dad mode with Jake every once in a while. And it was a nice change having Sisko involved with something Bajoran with it being built around his being the Emissary. The B plot with Bashir and his graduation drama was hella boring. blueray January 17, 2015 Share January 17, 2015 This was a cute episode, though not the most exciting. I did however love the scene with Miles and Julian drunk lol. Link to comment
John Potts March 22, 2017 Share March 22, 2017 Yeah, the A plot is kinda boring, to say nothing of ridiculously paced (so... Sisko built a spaceworthy vessel, by himself, in what - a month? They even deliberately say he made it by hand, so he can't even have replicated the parts to cut down the time!). The B plot was essentially "The Life & Loves of Julian Bashir", with Jadzia cock blocking him (love the "Go Away!" on the datapad - seriously Jadzia, why were you bothering him there!?) with Lyta (her first appearance? I guess Chase Masterson was hired for her "assets", and I don't mean her acting talent), his old rival from Medical School and of course his OTP... Miles (a lot of that drunken dialogue HAD to have been improvised, though Miles really was a good friend to go, "You should go and tell her what you think... but wait until you're sober first!")
