Primetimer December 26, 2014 Share December 26, 2014 Two very different Fathers Christmas visited genre shows on each side of the Atlantic this year, but which one should have kept gift receipts? Read the story Link to comment
shapeshifter December 26, 2014 Share December 26, 2014 Campbell's gray three-piece looks nice on him, but anyone who sits in the big chair at the mall looking like that is going to get arrestedHo! Ho! Ho! Good one! Link to comment
ChelseaNH December 29, 2014 Share December 29, 2014 But the true test is: Which one would you rather see again next year? Link to comment
ganesh December 29, 2014 Share December 29, 2014 There is no "British Bruce Campbell". There is only One Bruce Campbell. The Librarians' version was clever. They used the historical basis for Santa as part of the characterization, and the "avatar" fit well enough into the established show universe. Who used the typical, modern, commercial version of Santa; rather one-note for me. Link to comment
Latverian Diplomat December 23, 2015 Share December 23, 2015 Does all that time in New Zealand as Autolycus the King of Thieves count for nothing in the Commonwealth? Surely Bruce Campbell is the British "Bruce Campell" or the Empire was built up and dismantled for nothing :-) I don't see a need to choose, we can have both Santas. But the Who Santa was not the sole focus of his episode, but still made an impression, and that should count for something. Link to comment
