TudorQueen December 13, 2014 Share December 13, 2014 During the episode, I mentioned to a friend who only started watching last season of Original Recipe PR that while I'd never disliked Gunnar, I did recognize in his original season that he was very, very young and most of his issues could be traced to that. But now, I said, he seemed to have matured greatly from then and I liked him a lot - though his designs were inconsistent, sometimes good, sometimes not. I actually kind of liked the gown that got him auf'd. Then, his absolute class after the aufing, his lovely speech to the judges, moving Alyssa to hug him (that was hysterical, btw), his comments to the other designers, his final TH interview... wow. Our friend said, "I see what you mean" and TudorPrince said, "He really did mature, in leap years." He probably had little to no chance of winning, but we will all miss him. Link to comment
