Lantern7 December 2, 2014 Share December 2, 2014 Is anybody else watching the videos on YouTube? There are some good ones of teams recovering from the massage treatment, and one where the greeter (who starred in TAR Asia) reassures the Cyclists and welcomes them to the "family." 1 Link to comment
Lingo December 15, 2014 Share December 15, 2014 Have all the bonus clips suddenly disappeared from YouTube? Now I can't find any of them there -- just whole episodes, which you have to pay $2 to watch. That's too bad. At least I can still see everything for free on cbs.com. I was very annoyed with the bonus clips this week. There were just 3 with the scientists, 3 with the surfers, 4 of the dentists, and 10 -- TEN -- of the wrestlers! The wrestlers' shtick was funny at the beginning of the season, but now I am SO TIRED of it. Especially Robbie -- it just seems like it's impossible for him to be real in front in an interview. Everything he says is a joke (or bragging). Brooke does a lot of that too, but she's also sometimes capable of toning it down and talking like a normal person for a few minutes. TEN clips. I'm really worried they're gonna win next week. The next most annoying team was the dentists. All their clips are about how great they are and how much better they know they are than the scientists and how they're super defensive about the fact that the scientists almost beat them in that detour. I'm like, ugh, Jim, this is why people on the internet don't like you. Why are you so insecure? Simmer down. 2 Link to comment
Lantern7 December 20, 2014 Share December 20, 2014 I guess Brooke & Robbie gave better interviews. CBS just posted the last batch of clips on YouTube. I've made Maya wrapped around Phil a JPEG, and it should be a motivational poster soon. I just saw this clip of the girls celebrating their win before the other teams arrived. Link to comment
Lantern7 January 5, 2015 Share January 5, 2015 . . . and CBS just took down the bulk of the TAR25 videos. I'm pissed because I embedded stuff on my last blog post, and two of them are now set to "private." I know CBS did the same for their Survivor YouTube account, but it still bites. 2 Link to comment
Tahitigirl January 5, 2015 Share January 5, 2015 Now just how does that benefit them? You'd think they'd want people to continue to watch them for the ad revenue. Or are they now part of their monthly fee program? Rats. There were some I hadn't watched yet. 1 Link to comment
