Maurina May 22 Share May 22 Hmmm. I didn't love the first season, but it had aspects I enjoyed (mostly the cast), so I wasn't sure I was going to bother with a second season. But - and I'm not sure why - I'm finding this kinda fun. I mean, the premise is ridiculous as usual, but for some reason this is giving more 'locked room mystery' than last season and I'm digging it. 4 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/153667-s02e01-zauberwald/#findComment-8668784

Snazzy Daisy May 23 Share May 23 The evil White Lotus is back! It’s been a long wait. Zauberwald as the new location feels ominously isolating. Masha’s blunt platinum bob and bangs — what’s with this creepy European look? Martin’s rules for Masha are no fun. Quote “No imperfect dosage, no dosage without consent, and no dosing yourself.” The O’Clairs and the Sharpes are all about reconnecting with family. Wolfie wants to reconnect with her partner, Tina. While Brian and Sister Agnes are looking forward to reconnecting with themselves. Masha’s vision of her daughter seems more haunting than healing. 2 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/153667-s02e01-zauberwald/#findComment-8669583
PurpleTentacle May 25 Share May 25 This group of characters seems promising. Actually more interesting than last season and I also like the actors far more than anybody who was in the cast last season. So I'm looking foreward to this. They certainly got the shoddy cell service in germany right... They did really well with the german in this episode, even having native german speakers, until: "Bitte bleiben sie von der Tur fern." I guess they recorded that VO back in the studio in 'murica. It's technically correct, but in reality it's wrong. "Fern" alone is outdated and would never be used in this context. But more egregious was the heavy american accent. Not even sure how that happened? It was supposed to be computer-voice. They could have just given it to an AI and that would have pronounced it perfectly. Or did they do that and set the AI to english pronounciation by mistake? Just in case anybody cares. In reality it would be something like "Tür schließt. Bitte Abstand halten." or more likely, it would just beep at you. 1 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/153667-s02e01-zauberwald/#findComment-8670900
