baldryanr March 6 Share March 6 What is it with guys who charge stuff up and heroic sacrifices? Anyway, it's been clear for several episodes that Rex and/or Rae were goners. While he won't admit it, I bet Mark is glad Cecil had a bunch of ReAnimen ready to go, and it turned out Darkwing II was willing to make a heroic sacrifice as well. Plus with another Viltrimite on Earth, maybe researching countermeasures doesn't mean Cecil's an evil dick. I mean, he may still be one day, but there's a legitimate reason for his less than moral activities. 1 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/152231-s03e07-what-have-i-done/#findComment-8599939
thuganomics85 March 7 Share March 7 Turns out that Angstrom unleashing a bunch of shady to evil Invincibles onto the planet means that bad times will be had! Credit to Steven Yeun for his performance and how he voiced each of them. All felt distinctive in their own way. We'll see if they ever show back up since Angstrom banished them all after they tried to overthrow him. Classic Mark(s) not thinking things through! Pretty obvious that something bad was going to happen to either Rex or Rae once they finally opened up to a relationship, and it looks like is Rex that might be gone for good after sacrificing himself to take out a massively OP Invincible. Again, with this how, it's hard to predict who stays dead for good, but I'll miss the fellow. He actually had a pretty solid arc. Suddenly Cecil doesn't seem so bad once Eve needs a place to recover, huh?! Mark might never admit it out loud, but they might needs his brand of unethical methods and shady tactics to make it out of this in one piece. Immortal literally looses his head again, but is already put back together. But it now sounds like he's done with the hero act for good, which... considering his track record, maybe retirement is the best course of action here. Paul continues to be the most levelheaded "love interest to a superhero's mother" ever! Mark doesn't even have time to breath before another baddie in the form of a Viltramite named Conquest (really!) crashes the party. Finale might get wild as well! 1 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/152231-s03e07-what-have-i-done/#findComment-8600409
iarwain March 13 Share March 13 That episode was pretty intense, and it looks like the next one will be also. I didn't expect to see Powerplex again so soon. This show certainly likes to show the gruesome injuries, doesn't it? Part of the charm, I guess.
