MediaZone4K March 6 Share March 6 Voight's season 1 self Has come back to bite him in the form of that crooked cop. I like that we saw the prosecutor who has a crush on Hank again, what is a little disappointing that he didn't revisit that. I'm sure they're holding that for a blow up later in the season. Sandman March 6 Share March 6 Is Voight taking advantage of her feelings for him to win her support in bringing down Deputy Chief Reid (who, let’s face it, might as well have “Hank 2.0” embossed on his forehead)? I’m going with Yes. Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/152129-s12e15-greater-good/#findComment-8599977
Snazzy Daisy March 7 Author Share March 7 After nearly 15 minutes in, Torres finally has his first line and he has to say some nasty words on network TV. The writers did him dirty. Well, now we know how Deputy Chief Reid operates. It’s like looking at Voight 1.0 to a certain extent. Reid may have dirt on Voight but he knows nothing about who Hank Voight is. Reid is all about control and power while Voight is about keeping the streets safe while prioritizing the victims. Can this be the last time Voight has to take down the dirty and problematic superiors? It’s getting repetitive and boring. Nina Chapman’s feelings for Voight may not be reciprocated (yet) but she’s in his inner circle now. He’s using her and her resources to take down Reid. Nina will do everything in her power to help and protect her “boo”. Hopefully it won’t get her killed. 😬 3 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/152129-s12e15-greater-good/#findComment-8600321

But at least they were back on screen working together. I'm all for Voight having some happiness in his life. I enjoyed this episode, watched it live but I'm late commenting. Reid dirty af. The way that gangbanger changed his tune after meeting with Reid's lawyer friend was crazy. I ship Nina and Hank. I like how he is thawing out towards her. Hopefully we get a decent resolution to their story by the end of the season. 1 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/152129-s12e15-greater-good/#findComment-8620660

When characters like Hank Voight, or Jack Bauer from 24 are hardly ever paired romantically, it makes it more powerful when they finally are. I appreciate the business first, personal life fluff less approach with those characters, but it would be nice to see them happy.
