S01.E07: Once Upon a Twice Christmas

It’s the middle of spring and the Dutch are celebrating Christmas… again. The Colonel and Katja are looking forward to celebrating their first Christmas dinner together as girlfriend and boyfriend. But Katja bluntly tells Captain Maggie she does not like her, and she is not invited to the dinner party.

I am really liking the actress who plays Maggie, her delivery is fantastic.  The exchange over the baby deer had me in stitches. "... I kill the baby." - "Yes. The big one is too tough." - "Aha, and the big one is..." - "The mother." - "The mother."  This whole straight-shooting Dutch thing is something, isn't it.

"She makes chairs that are uncomfortable to sit on." - "Yes. Objects do not exist for people's comfort." - "But chairs do..."

I didn't care for this episode at all.  Oh well.  I've liked all of the others.  I checked out with the scene with Maggie holding a knife and being told to kill the deer.  The thought of knifing anything icks me out - not that they were going to do that, but I didn't care for it.   

Maggie & her dad were obnoxious in this episode.  ☹️

I thought this was really funny, but also educational. Who knew they had 2 Christmases. So many of the lines made me smile, I liked the interactions in this one.
