I believe this is specifically about the Christmas song rather than the group as a whole

Oh okay. Thanks! I remember from the other special, how they had to push back “Last Christmas” because Band-Aid came out with Do They Know It’s Christmas?”

I watched this last night and thought it was WONDERFUL!

A few things I learned:

• Instead of being either Andrew or George's one time girlfriend, Shirlie Kemp, is actually married to Spandau Ballet's Martin Kemp!
• That George donated all proceeds from "Last Christmas" to Band Aid/Ethiopa crisis 

I knew he was talented, but I didn't know HOW talented. And that they were all good friends. I got misty at the end. Wish the end credits had allowed for the entire song to be played.

I love Mary J. Blige, but as far as I'm concerned? The best version of this song is the original. I don't like  any of the cover songs.

I still miss him.
