What? Alex’s mom is The King??! 

Nice red herring about Brauer, the bar lady.

Detective Rauch is quite terrible at her job, it’s so frustrating.

Hate the cliffhanger. What else to tell in S02? The story about Ole being kept hostage by The King will feel repetitive. And the story about town politics and The King wanting to be a mayor won’t be compelling enough. It’s a bad call.

Yeah. Should have wrapped up the animal trafficking plot and moved on.  As an aside the whole idea of trapping and selling wild, endangered animals as “pets” or food sickens me to the core and I hope all involved in it die solely and painfully by being torn apart by tigers. 
Otherwise I liked this a lot. The actresses playing the mom and the daughter were the best. I hope it is renewed.

I did not expect that! When they revealed King was a woman, I thought maybe it's Rauch after all for some reason haha.  I don't think Ole will be kept hostage. From what I understand Brauer is the only one who knows who King is right? So as long as she stays hidden, Mrs. Novak's secret is safe and no reason to hold Ole. I'm glad there's a season 2 because I liked the show but wasn't sure what they'd do next. I'm guessing finding and catching King will be part of it.
