Well, the Jackal’s wife is so annoying, just like her mom and her brother. She breaks into his secret room, not realizing that he’s watching her remotely. 

Elias withholds the balance of the payment because he is not happy being used as a bait in his father’s assassination. Bad call. And now he’s dead too. It’s time to move on to the next target.

Brash Bianca is still chasing leads. The prototype bag that she found at Norman’s place gives her a clue on how the Jackal smuggled his sniper rifle in/out.

Jackal's wife & in-laws are not long for this world, right?

How did Bianca know to dismantle the prototype gun case if neither she nor security were aware it was a weapon when she returned to London?

Bianca is a MI6 firearms expert. Once Paddy the techie shows her the collapsable barrel, she must have tried to assemble the sniper rifle in the tech room before doing the demonstration in front of Isabel and Halcrow.

Based on some reviews, later in the season, there will be one pointless arc involving the Jackal’s BIL, Alvaro. Dammit.

Okay, so now MI6 got their hands on the carry-on bag that made up the custom-made sniper rifle. However, even with their explanation, it did not answer the question from episode 1. How did the Jackal smuggled the bullets? The bullets the Jackal used looked like 12.7 mm rounds, which is quite substantial in size. Along with the shape of the bullets themselves, there would be no way that the bullets passed any decent x-ray machine.
