NeenerNeener August 9 Share August 9 So who is Maddie's son's father? She didn't succeed in seducing her high school boyfriend, young Durst, and Daddy Durst made her abort his baby. But she told her kid in the previous episode that Milton is not his father. So she either lied to him and Milton is his father, or she was pregnant with twins and they only aborted one, or she got pregnant again after the abortion, but not by Milton. Snazzy Daisy August 10 Author Share August 10 What a cliffhanger! Miss Helpline being greeted with slap on the ass on daily basis is uncomfortably degrading. Miss Helpline also leads the City of Baltimore to Cleo’s body at the fountain after missing for months. Miss Helpline deserves the talking-down by The Afro journalist after waltzing into her office, demanding everything she has on Cleo. The nerve. 🙄 Hope Maddie will learn something from Edna’s journalistic tips — never ask for permission, never apologize, and always read the room. While pursuing her big scoop on Cleo based on a tip from Slappy, Maddie realizes that Reggie was the Black man with a black eye at Stephan's fish store. Will she act on this finding? The scene between Maddie and the kingpin Shell Gordon is interesting and effortless. The carefully-chosen words, the coyness. Love it. Lucille happily spends the prize money to open a new salon. Does she keep all the rigged money? What about Cleo’s percentage? Via flashback, we see Maddie having a painful, illegal abortion arranged by Hal. Did he get her pregnant again? The show keeps dragging the mystery surrounding Seth’s bio dad. Hal having an affair with Maddie does explain the painting that we saw in Hal’s studio in episode 02. Link to comment
Dminches August 10 Share August 10 Didn’t Cleo get Lucille to play the numbers and Cleo received a big cut? I thought that was where she got the money to pay Reggie. Either the cops did an awful job investigating the Durtz girl’s murder or they didn’t care. It was pretty clear that Reggie was there. Link to comment
