How delusional is Pampinea?? I thought at first that she decided to lie just to get over everyone and "inherit" the villa, and I think if she'd been better to Sirisco that would have worked out ok. Of course, she's a total narcissist and being the "lady of the house" only encourages her bad behavior, but it could have worked out with the other nobles/refugees if she'd kept it in check. Instead, she's gone off the edge I don't know how many times and this time might be the worst.

First, she persuaded Misia to kill Ruggierio, and later tried to make it seem that it was Misia's idea or at the very least "self-defense" and that Misia should get over it and get back to taking care of Pampinea. Then she accuses Stratilia of being a witch so she can take charge of Stratilla's son (the actual heir to the villa) - complete with burning her at the stake. On top of everything, it turns out that Pampinea isn't pregnant (although she claimed the baby was Leonardo's by proxy via Sirisco) after all. She really is as awful as it gets - as Ruggierio told her.

This is one wacky show. I've watched a number of confusing and peculiar shows in the past few years, but this one has to win an award for being wackier than most. Still going to watch until the end, though, even if I suspect everyone (except possibly Stratilla's son) will end up dead.
