So, yeah, while the repercussions from Matt's alleged non-amplexatorial nature may have been hilarious, he clearly can embrace the idea of embracement (he accepted hugs from Brooklyn and Makensy just fine, later on) and it can be argued that using this as his tagline is premature, at best.

But…this does open up the opportunity for an obscure Buffy the Vampire Slayer reference, and anyone who knows me knows that there's no way I can resist that.  So, with apologies, I quote episode 2.04, Inca Mummy Girl :

(I had intended to illustrate this with a gif from Yarn, but not only do their images seem to be down, but they've blown the transcription!  [Sacrilege!]  They have it [incorrectly] as "un-budger".  What the hork is an "un-budger", I ask you?

To stay completely OT, I should mention that this hardly-acclaimed episode was the first one I saw of that series, albeit not the one that hooked me.)

At least my obsessive tendencies have spared y'all from a weak pun about Matt being a "Hardeman" to evict.  (Or not so much one, should tomorrow go poorly for him.)  So we can give thanks for small mercies, anyhow.
