RELEASE DATE: TBA (2025) on NBC

CAST:

Melissa Roxburgh as Rebecca “Bex” Henderson - Shrewd, steadfast and obsessively curious, Bex is an ex-FBI agent recruited to an elite government task force due to her reputation as a savvy profiler who’s caught some of the world’s most dangerous serial killers.

Nick Wechsler as Oliver Odell - Bex’s former partner in the FBI and the love of her life, Oliver Odell is a charming, brilliant and often reckless profiler whose career at the bureau, and whose relationship with Bex, ended in disgrace.

Patrick Sabongui as Ryan Hassani - Rugged and world-worn but with a casual air, Hassani is a CIA agent tasked with managing the crisis.

Sara Garcia as Jennifer Morales - A bright and natural optimist despite her tough upbringing, Jennifer is an intel officer and major in the Army.

Josh McKenzie as Shane Florence - Selfless, sincere and charismatic, Shane is a former soldier in Iraq and a prison guard at a highly classified facility.

Kyra Leroux as Samantha Henderson - Precocious, funny and winning, Samantha is Bex’s 18-year-old daughter (via adoption) and a survivor of great trauma. In her first year at college, Samantha and Bex are both struggling being away from each other.

I get why TV writers do it, but I'm just over "The show is about This, BUT ALSO, there's a behind-the-scenes Conspiracy". I just hate that those things usually get drawn out forever with little progress, while at the same time getting more and more convoluted and non-sensical.

I guess the question is, why would you want to keep all your worst serial killers around if not for punishment? (Since that can happen in a non-super-secret prison.)
