Bree7702 June 15, 2024 Share June 15, 2024 Just wondering if anyone knows why the creators didn't at least try to make the girls room over Edna's Edibles look any different than their room over the kitchen at Eastland? You would think they could have changed the set for their bedroom and made it look a little different and less like an attic when they moved where the store was. 1 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/148244-the-girls-room-at-eastland-vs-their-room-living-over-ednas-edibles/
Blergh July 10, 2024 Share July 10, 2024 Two possible reasons: 1. the Peekskill store location had once been a private home that had gotten renovated into a commercial property and they were trying to reflect that. 2. It was far cheaper to keep virtually the same set with only a few differences than to build an entirely new one for their bedroom. CeeBeeGee July 18, 2024 Share July 18, 2024 They did re-use sets--if you look closely, I'm pretty sure the set for the magazine store in New York, NY (where Blair and Jo wait for their friends) is the same set as the coffee shop where Tootie holes up with Kristie the prostitute in Runaway. Even more interesting, they're consecutive episodes. Even more interesting, New York New York is the third episode in a row where someone visits New York City!
