Moo September 19, 2014 Share September 19, 2014 The people of Scotland's eyes are wide open and positive. Westminster are trying to cling on, we will not be duped again, Scotland already voted for independence in 1979. Scots do not hate the English, but crave self determination. Just that. Yes, our eyes were wide open and our voices have been heard. And we voted No to independence. Thank the sweet chocolate Jesus that common sense prevailed! I'm so proud of my fellow Scots right now. We have finally beaten the Nationalistic side into submission! Long live the UK! 1 Link to comment

We have finally beaten the Nationalistic side into submission! Long live the UK! You may be proud, but the sight of Unionist behaviour in George Square in Glasgow after the No victory, beating the Nationalists into submission, was chilling to self-respecting Scots. Burning Saltires, terrorising ordinary people and spreading disorder in a city which had been full of positivity and hope, not a carnival of hate. The positive Yes campaign envisioned a caring, sharing, truly democratic society with a real voice in the future of its own country. I did not wish to hijack this topic but I just felt I had to reply. Thank you. 4 Link to comment
