In this episode "poltergeist" was used to define Saul and explain why he was able to appear at the Woodstone and then leave (because he was attached to a person rather than a building). Exactly. This surprised me too, although I do vaguely remember some stories about poltergeists being emotionally attached to a person and saving that person by delaying something with their pranks. Saul is not emotionally attached to his person, though, despite saying he’s clingy. I also think that Alberta, who just wanted a fling, could have decided that before plotting with Saul to attach to Jay without his consent. Even Trevor and Bela got Eric’s consent for their unhinged scheme.
