Sight Unseen is a 10 Episode Drama TV Series airing on April 3, 2024 on the CW at 9pm. This TV Series is created by sisters Karen "Kat" Troubetzkoy and Nikolijne Troubetzkoy. Karen's own vision loss issues helped to create authentic scenarios for the series. Both the actress playing Tess Avery and the actress playing Mia Moss have impaired vision and bring those experiences to their depiction of their characters. Sight Unseen aired in Canada on CTV in January 2024.

Tess Avery is a top Vancouver homicide detective who quits her job after her deteriorating vision nearly gets her partner, Jake Campbell, killed. Tess' vision worsens until she is declared clinically blind from Leber’s neuropathy. Unable to stop investigating crimes, Tess uses a "state of the art" headset, with camera, earpiece, and microphone to connect via the "Eyes Up" app to Sunny Patel, a professional, agoraphobic, seeing-eye guide, who is also true crime fanatic, living 3,000 miles away in New York. Sunny's agoraphobia stems from a serious trauma that she has suffered in her past. Tess must now convince her old boss, Superintendent Bennett, that this new arrangement works well enough that she can return to her job. Sunny remotely steers Tess through life’s obstacles and becomes a true partner in solving cases.
