I'm right there with you. I'm going to have to pay attention to what the woman actually said as subtitles are notorious for getting the translations wrong. But if she did say just that, village woman can just BITE ME. I say this as someone who is of India descent, and have visited the country multiple times during my life, and am aware of the class and caste system; bride burnings, the rapes, etc. I know I'll be needing my glass of Johnnie Walker when I'm watching, because again, another scene, was oh, the poor, poor rapist.
