S05.E11: Goliath & David

Not the strongest episode of the season, but that cameo at the end had me laughing for about five minutes after. Good to see Uncle Junior Judge again too.
 
For those who haven't seen it, the music video the cast did for Tricky Trick, which is an appropriately annoying earworm:

I wasn't super blown away by the Peter Bogdonovich reveal, but I don't have a real firm grasp on who he is, so that probably tempered my enjoyment a little bit.

I did, however, enjoy this episode overall! It felt quite a bit lighter than the pre-break episodes, which I liked in and of itself, and also because it made the reveal of the vote-tampering evidence all the more shocking. I did not see that coming at all - for which I should probably also give major props to whoever insisted there was no "previously on 'The Good Wife'" segment that would have ruined the reveal, as well as to the Kings, for trusting their audience to remember plot points even after multiple episodes have elapsed. Do we think Will leaked the evidence? Wasn't he the last one to be in possession of the footage - could it have been someone else at Lockhart/Gardner?
 
I also really liked that Alicia wasn't afraid to use Will's feelings for her against him, instead of just being grossed out that he was using his knowledge of her as an advantage. They're relationship gave her an advantage too, and it's good to see her using it.

Damien would certainly do it if he found out about it, but that would require a bit of explanation. I don't think he'd automatically know what the video shows either, so Will is probably more likely.

Alicia represents a band suing a TV show for copyright infringement, but the simple case becomes psychological warfare when Will joins the opposing council and uses his knowledge of Alicia’s strengths and weaknesses against her.
