I ‘ve been watching this over a period of time instead of binging. 
I quite like the documentary plus “movie” aspects. Having actual historians and archaeologists sharing their knowledge on one of the greatest warriors to exist makes Alexander seem to be more human than mythical. 
He has always been one of my favourite historical figures and I learned much about the reasons behind many of his actions.
