Eileen Sun, wife of a powerful Taiwanese triad kingpin, Big Sun, moves to Los Angeles with her young son Bruce, in an attempt to escape the Taipei violence after a failed attempt on her husband's life by a rival gang. Another assassination attempt years later succeeds in shooting Big Sun. Charles “Chairleg” Sun, Big Sun's son and also a Taipei gangster, rushes to Los Angeles because he believes his mother and younger brother might also be in danger. Charles, Bruce and their mother must heal the wounds caused by their separation and figure out what brotherhood and family truly mean before one of their countless enemies kills them all. Asian writers provide authentic Taiwanese slang and cuisine.

In many ways, it’s basically Chuck, but in a different setting. I’ve watched 4 eps so far and enjoyed it, even had a few laughs.
