The Lovers follows Janet, a woman with a foul-mouth, stacking shelves at Turley's Supermarket, who doesn’t care about anything, and Seamus, a handsome, self-centered, political broadcaster with a seemingly perfect London life with Frankie, his celebrity actress girlfriend. When Seamus unexpectedly drops into Janet’s world (literally over a wall and into her backyard), they instantly clash – and yet also find themselves inextricably drawn to each other. A Rom-Com? Johnny Flynn as Seamus O’Hannigan, a London political radio broadcaster making the move to a current affairs TV presenter on "This Sunday with Seamus O’Hannigan" filming in Belfast, Northern Ireland. Roisin Gallagher as Janet, a Belfast supermarket employee, who has just lost her husband. It's been a while since Johnny has done a proper comedy. EMMA was funny, but his Mr. Knightley wasn't the comedic lead as he is in this. He and Roisin are so great together. 1 Link to comment
