ribboninthesky1 December 28, 2023 Share December 28, 2023 This came up as recommended TV. It was okay. The pacing was uneven, and some episodes I half-watched because they wouldn't just get on with things. So it's great to have on if you're doing something else! I'm sure the narrative format has been used before, but in recent memory, it reminded me a little of the Netflix series Kaleidoscope. I enjoy watching the mystery unfolding, but I have to suspend disbelief that these supposedly top-notch professional criminals all seem a bit...thick at varying times. I'm willing to give the young female safe cracker some grace since it was presumably her first job and it all went wrong. Most of the crew, though... Nice change of pace for sure, although Joe should called Jules to get out of the house as soon as he escaped the house in France. Eddie Izzard was unrecognizable. For me, at least. And the bit at the end with Spoiler him not paying his crew for months. How did he hire people in the US to track Joe's family if he had no money to pay them? I'm assuming assassins like to be paid at least sum of their fee upfront... Link to comment
