Yay! A thread for this episode.....

Michelle annoyed TF out of me on her date. I would like to say that maybe it was just nerves since she admitted it had been a long time since she had been on a date, but I have a feeling she is just one of those women who likes to hear herself talk and has to fill silence. Her date seemed lovely, and if she had STFU maybe he would have chatted with her a bit too apart from the baking. I thought that was also a great idea for a first date, but she didnt' seem into it at all---the joking and not focusing would have pissed me off as I feel it did her date. Funny, I am a scientist too---maybe it is a mindset, lol. 

Mark's date looks a lot older than 24 or 25. I was shocked she seemed as into him as she did, but then again, she wants that ticket to the US. 

Stanika....seemed a bit put off that he is taking her to the family so soon, but then again, she knows it is the culture. I love that she asked him what was an appropriate gift to take to meet his mother and loved his response when she said purple was her favorite color. lol I feel like she really isn't in this for a husband, more a long distance relationship that she can brag about back home without ever actually having a physical man there. I mean, she hadn't ever been on a real date and she is in her 30s....I am sure there is SOME pressure from her family. 

Chad definitely has a cheek full of chew at all times. I find that more disgusting than smoking and his lovely date is spot on about him rushing things. Glad that she saw those red flags and waved them to Juan.

I like Michelle so far, but was getting major secondhand embarrassment from her date behavior, especially when she continued to bring up sexual topics that he was clearly not responding to. I'll chalk it up to nerves for now and hope she relaxes after this. Otherwise, yikes!

I also cringed when Mark kept pressing his date about whether or not she could see herself married to him. It's a first date, dude! Calm down!

I like Stanika and her date (can't remember his name). Even if they don't work out long term, she can look back fondly on it as a fun fling and a good intro to the dating world.
