DearEvette August 20, 2023 Share August 20, 2023 Strictly Ballroom. The whole final scene starting with Scott coming out of nowhere to dance with Fran. The shot of his dramatic entrance -- sliding in on his knees, turning while still sliding and then to stand up and do a matador stance is just one of my favorite movie shots. But the entire scene was fantastic, there was comedy, farce, excellent ballroom dancing, all things being revealed, a course a cheesy-heartfelt moment, and the good guys win in the end. And ends with everyone of the dance floor dancing to 'Love is in the Air.' 7 1 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/13465-movie-endings-that-rock/page/2/#findComment-8113414

Spartan Girl August 24, 2023 Share August 24, 2023 Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3. Now this is how an MCU franchise should end: no rushed third act twist or OOC decisions. The gang had to part, but all of them were in a good place. Peter went home to his grandpa, Variant!Gamora is with the Ravagers, Mantis went to find herself, Rocket’s the new leader, Nebula is rebuilding Knowhere, and Drax finally found his inner dancer. That whole final sequence was just perfection. And the montage of photos in the credits ending with “Badlands” made me misty. 5 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/13465-movie-endings-that-rock/page/2/#findComment-8118482
