What season are you currently on? I'm on Netflix in the states so I have to wait an excruciatingly long time for a new season.

Well, mostly the character, but this many seasons in a lot of that has transferred to the actress (I saw her in a romance movie a couple of days back and she seemed awfully similar to Lou, although have to admit, romance movies are NOT my thing, so I didn't watch long). 

Character-wise I really have trouble with the whole family not stopping her every time she ends up attached to some overwhelming obsession (and pushing everyone around and focussing fanatically on one goal) by just naming what she's doing.  How many times can we watch her be forced to come to her senses exactly the same way? She comes close to spoiling the whole show for me.  I liked it when she was in New York.

Although the irony of that storyline was that she abandoned her kids for months at a time. Wasn't that her reasoning for divorcing Peter? It's a whole do as I say not as I do thing.

I think the character must have ADHD or something. She can't focus on one thing and see it through. Before she's completed her newest obsession a different shiny thing grabs her attention. Going through life half assing everything you do.

Amy/Nathan drew the worst ratings in all 18 years on CBC. Amber spent the fall in the US making different appearances, with more on tap this spring. Never had to do that before to drum up interest.

The show better change directions or it won't last another season or two. My Canadian cousins tell me it's lost its luster up there.

The first 6 seasons of HL are extraordinary TV, the next 4 are above average. A lot of folks don't like 11-12, we enjoyed them.

13 on is really bad writing, once they killed off TY it nosedived and they completely screwed up Amy as a charector.

Because it was so good for so long I hope they do a last season and wrap up all the loose ends... the perfect finish is a time jump to a now 15-year-old Lindy... and the arrival of a new boy in the loft...the legacy continues.

Agree. I think they should've actually wrapped it up with a finalé before Graham left.

I continue to love Jack. He is the heart of the show. And he and Lisa are the best. 

I continue to hate Tim no matter what they do with him. 

Katie is actually pretty good. I like her pushing back against helicopter/nosy Lou.

I can't stand Lou, but given that her example/role model is Tim, biggest jerk and worst role model of all time, why would she think she should take advice from anyone?

Just wanted to say that (mostly) sophisticated Lou would never let her daughter wear that unfortunates and hideous dress to a school dance.

I'm not sure when Netflix is gonna have a new season available in the states. Otherwise I'd love to discuss with you guys.
