  1. ‘Making A Murderer’ Star Steven Avery’s Lawyer Drops ‘Biggest Evidence Bombshell’ Yet
  2. Since it's TV you got to give the writers some slack but yes speaking on several years in the fire service Casey wouldn't be still active with his medical.( Then again officers don't move up without taking exams etc either) If the show lacks one thing it's maybe too much happy ending and not enough real life in terms of the department. After thinking about it Casey could go to OFI and or the Academy and still be part of the show since they put Severide I don't know how many times there, CFD has a special ops division that could use a Matt Casey as well. That open office next to the bullpen could be his HQ etc. I guess the show has played out a lot of these plots to the point of being lame some weeks. Two cents
  3. Talk about playing out something way too long.... The writers need to either put Brett and Casey together or not. That character has taken more hits then anyone on the show over time and frankly it's to the point of overkill. With that said Casey in a different position in the department would at least give us some new material to deal with and or him taking a leave of absence to making a decision on his future would also at least give something different. Throwback to the Matt Casey construction days?
  4. Actually Finn is far and away the most productive and sought after actor on the show right now.... even more than Millie. He'll have a big part in The Turning which Steven Spielberg is executive producing. Has landed a role in the new Ghostbuster 2020 movie which will be directed by Ivan Reitman who did the first two original films. Also will be in The Goldfinch which stars Nicole Kidman and Ansel Elgort . With the resume he's collecting I see Finn being the first of the group to go big IMHO.
  5. Okay here's an early Season 4 plot twist and set up for you... Dustin who is trying to talk with his GF long distance catch's another radio transmission ...SOS from Hopper to EL. He's alive but the Russians have got the gate open and learned to control it! Scene shift to Suburban Chicago.... El has never got her powers back and has shifted into a normal kid..well as normal as one could be all things considered. Her and Mike have been on/off/on etc. The gang tries desperately to make contact but can't....road trip! The boys have just got their drivers license and pool $ to get there. So once El finds out she of course loses it and tries many things to get her mojo back. Q that episode everyone hated in season 2.... she goes to find #8 which see does. They remember the guy they killed saying that papa was still alive. They race to find papa ( Matthew Modine) Back story Joyce goes ape and gets Jonathan and Nancy to come get her in hot pursuit of the others. The boys driving on a big road trip would be pure entertainment in it's self. The story line could actually stretch into two seasons if set up correctly with Season 5 wrapping it all up in a bow.
  6. What a binge that was ! Mixed feelings on the ending. It does open a lot of possibilities on where they go from here though. Steve and Robin are a nice new mix and Dustin having a GF was a great add. I am not really a fan of how the Mike/EL thing played out through the season but I am glad they left them together so to speak.
  7. I binge watched the whole thing last night. Really enjoyed it from a different perspective. I would have liked to have seen a little less Daniel in this whole thing and had more time with Johnny and for Miguel and his friends. Biggest complaint I have is the perception of aggressive karate being "bad" or "evil". Miguel was told to be on the offensive and he did just that, unlike Johnny he didn't take the shot to the knee at the end. I think if your going to look at this show from the Cobra Kai perspective then they kind of overdosed it with Daniels karate and perspective and family ( Who came off as rich and pompas by the way). I am hoping that in season 2 that both main characters learn to move on from the past and maybe mutually do what's best for Robbie and Miguel..... who by the way crushed his role. William Zabka really did a good job overall bringing this back !
  8. Folks the last scene is a play on emotions. I think Archie and Betty regain that close friendship. You have to remember these are supposed to be 16 yr old HS kids. So realistically they could/would/should break up... be apart and then get together a lot. I thought the show got stale for a few episodes but the last 2 have picked it up 2 notches. Let's let it play out 3-4 episodes and see is all I am saying.... you might be pleasantly surprised.
  9. I think they will rekindle the close friendship they had before everything... remember we never actually saw that. I think everyone should think along the lines of time apart will actually make both couples stronger rather than " OMG they are going to hook up"
  10. Grew up in the upper midwest in the 80's..... very common phrase back then in our area.
  11. Finn's music video which he co directed and stars in. Couple of tidbits is the "girl" he's into in the video seems to have caused a stir elsewhere. Finn's music and the super job directing this makes me think he's a little unerapprecated talentwise. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i4J7L0eCOik
  12. I enjoyed the first 2 episodes the others were just meh. I think Millie and Finn are an interesting pair outside of the screen. Watching other interviews she's trying super hard to kill any rumors about the pair... almost to a fault at times. Have yet to see a decent interview with Finn by himself. I think the show was good but maybe in the future as mentioned by others it needs smaller groups without the Duffers.
  13. Could the guy in the hottub BE the black hood ? Remember he knows her dark side thus "we are the same" ? He was part of the FB team and school he would know everything about Betty and her friends? Just a thought
  14. You can get from that part of Chicago to NW Indiana in roughly 2 hours maybe sooner if it's just across the border. I get your point but it's doable though it would be a tight window.
  15. Some has been mentioned but for me: 1. Eleven(Jane) is introduced as Hoppers adopted daughter (We get flashbacks on how she spent the last year ) and emerges as much more well spoken but of course has rough spots. It's Max and Mike that have really helped her adjust. 2. The gang starts High School and quickly learn that life as freshman is rough. This makes the whole gang grow closer. Lucas finds that the older boys take notice of her and this really gets to Lucas.... AKA the typical HS stuff throughout season 3. Hopper and Joyce are growing closer but not yet seriously dating. This bothers Will and is a backdrop to the season. 4. The Shadow monster finds a new way in to Hawkins unrelated to the current cast..... maybe #13 is out there, a person stronger than EL but also evil. 5. Jonathan and Nancy are still dating but both are realising they have futures away from Hawkins and start to grow apart. Steve who is working for his Dad kind of councils the two of them into realizing that if you're truly in love than being apart won't matter. 6. Papa returns and wants Eleven back until finds out #13 is loose, he recruits this new character to his side and sets out to destroy Eleven and Hawkins.....
