I read that the 2nd season of Around The World In 80 Days will most likely be a continuation of the story using the same characters, although it is possible the second season might be an adaptation of Jules Verne's "20,000 Leagues Under The Sea". DanaK October 30 Share October 30 Looks like we may not get a second season after all, or if we do, maybe not starring David Tennant https://tvline.com/lists/ghosts-season-4-spoilers-sasappis-reveal-flower-restaurant/around-the-world-in-80-days-season-2/ Quote Around the World in 80 Days with David Tennant was renewed a while ago, and since then there has been no news. Is it still happening, or was it cancelled? –Pam Technically, it was reported in November 2021 that a second season was “in development,” with Tennant “almost certain” to reprise his role as Phileas Fogg. But now, almost three years later, a spokesperson for the series tells TVLine, “At this time, MASTERPIECE cannot confirm any further seasons.” 1 Link to comment
