Apparently screeners of the pilot have been sent out; one advance review: https://dctvpodcasts.com/reviews/advanced-review-the-cw-naomi/

Quote

Something many may be wondering that we should get out of the way; it’s very clear from the get-go that Naomi does not take place on the same Earth as the other Arrowverse shows. As the synopsis has teased, the concept of superheroes in this reality doesn’t match what Earth-Prime has established. And to be quite honest, when looking at the source material, it works for the TV adaptation to be set in its own world while leaving the door open for a crossover down the line. Very much like what they did with Black Lightning in the beginning, Naomi deserves time to set its tone before getting involved with the other heroes on The CW. Like with Stargirl, it’s good for Naomi to get to create a new corner of the Arrowverse’s Multiverse.

I was thinking they'd at least connect this - directly or indirectly - with Superman & Lois, which is also (kind of) separate from the other shows. But they could later, maybe.

Another early review: https://comicbook.com/dc/news/naomi-review-the-cw-dc-comics-episode-1/

Quote

... To an extent, the pilot of Naomi feels like nothing else in the realm of superhero television right now. It might not have the predictable flashiness of most of The CW's other DC shows, or as strong of a genre hook as some of the DC shows that are currently streaming — but that isn't necessarily a bad thing. What the series does have is a profound amount of heart, sincerity, and personality, and an approach to its relatively new source material that could be spun into something truly special. Anchored by Walfall's truly excellent performance, Naomi has all the makings of DC's next TV hit, if you're willing to wait to watch it take flight.

When asked if the Superman that Naomi sees is Superman and Lois' Superman or a different Superman,  Kaci Walfall said: "Naomi exists in her own universe. So Tyler Hoechlin, who plays Superman in Superman and Lois, was not on the set. But I'm excited for fans to see that take on Superman, especially in the first episode."

This seems more spoiler-y than not, so I'm putting it here: Quotes about Naomi's parents from Barry Watson, at TVLine.

Quote

“He’s a little more aware than he’s pretending to be both with the military and with Naomi,” Watson reveals to TVLine. “He knows who Naomi really is, and he knows the truth, but he couldn’t let her know that, and he couldn’t tell the commander when he asked him to join his special investigation team. The great thing about this show is I learn new things every week as we get the scripts. I’m getting to discover more about my character and the other characters. You just never know what they know until you do.”

Quote

“Lying, despite their best intentions, creates a situation where Naomi will get angry with her parents,” Watson observes. “What teenager doesn’t get mad at their parents? But because Greg and Jen are keeping secrets, it does threaten that bond. The show is so grounded in that way. As time goes on and Naomi finds out more and more, she is going to be upset with her parents. I know I would be.”
