Invincible is based on the Skybound/Image comic of the same name by Robert Kirkman, Cory Walker, and Ryan Ottley. Invincible, Kirkman's second-longest comic-book series, concluded in February 2018 after a 15-year run.

Invincible is an adult animated superhero show that revolves around seventeen-year-old Mark Grayson (Steven Yeun), who's just like every other guy his age - except that his father is the most powerful superhero on the planet, Omni-Man (J.K. Simmons). But as Mark develops powers of his own, he discovers that his father's legacy may not be as heroic as it seems.

Season one of Invincible, the new, hour-long, 8 episode adult animation series from The Walking Dead's Robert Kirkman. The first three episodes of season one will premiere Friday, March 26, 2021 on Prime Video in more than 240 countries and territories worldwide, with new episodes available each Friday, culminating in an action-packed season finale on April 30th.

Invincible will also star Sandra Oh (Killing Eve), Seth Rogen (This is the End), Gillian Jacobs (Community), Andrew Rannells (Black Monday, Girls), Zazie Beetz (Deadpool 2), Mark Hamill (Star Wars: The Last Jedi), Walton Goggins (Justified), Jason Mantzoukas (Brooklyn Nine-Nine), Mae Whitman (Good Girls), Chris Diamantopoulos (Silicon Valley), Melise (The Flash), Kevin Michael Richardson (The Simpsons), Grey Griffin (Avengers Assemble), Max Burkholder (Imaginary Order) and more.

Something is going down at Amazon Prime Video on Saturday, January 22 involving the "Invincible" adult animated series. Information is vague at the moment, but it might involve airing some or all of the episodes of this animated TV Series to the public for "Free", not requiring an Amazon Prime Video subscription to watch.

This is part of the Amazon Prime Video Fanimation Week from January 17 to 22.  Amazon is dropping the paywall for some of it's adult animated shows. Here is the current schedule (Information I added is in parenthesis and might be wrong):

1/17 - Anime Monday: A day dedicated to highlighting all of the amazing Anime titles available on Prime Video, including the critically-acclaimed Evangelion Rebuild series.  (I believe Evangelion 3.33 and Evangelion 3.0+1.0  and several other anime titles can be viewed for free starting from January 17 to the end of February).

1/18 - Diabolical Tuesday: It’s time to get f*cking Diabolical with Prime Video’s animated anthology series, The Boys Presents: Diabolical, set in the world of The Boys. (Possibly can watch several episodes for free this day before the official premiere of the series.)

1/19 - Fairfax Wednesday Drop: Get ready for the DROP! Let’s get hypebeast-y with Prime Video’s latest entry into its Adult Animation lineup.

1/20 - Vox Machnica Thursday: Fans have made this the most successful Kickstarter campaign of all time, let’s blow it all out for them and this amazing cast.  (Possibly can watch several episodes for free this day before the official premiere of the series.)

1/21 - Undone Friday: A behind the scenes of one of Prime Video’s most visually stunning shows.

1/22 - Invincible Saturday Season 1 Rewatch-a-thon: Let’s end the weekend on a high note with a rewatch of Prime Video’s most talked about animated series of 2021. (Possibly can watch the entire series for free this day.)

JK Simmons says he getting ready to go to the studio to record his lines for the second season of Prime Video's Invincible.

Is that the start or end of the project? I know the animation portion takes a long time

I think it is the start, although with today's technology, I think it would probably work better near the end.

Invincible Comic Series Is Getting Its First-Ever Video Game

Don't get too excited, it is a free-to-play mobile game for iOS and Android.

While you won't be taking direct control of Invincible himself, you will be able to recruit, manage, and deploy heroes to defend against criminal attacks on various locations across the planet. The plot twist here? All of these crime sprees are linked and supported by clones of Invincible himself. Each squad member has a role to play on the battlefield--Attacker, defender, or Support--and it'll be up to you to assemble the best team and deploy them into "blood-soaked" fights.

In the game are Invincible, Atom Eve, Omni-Man, Robot, Rex Splode and The Guardians of the Globe.

The video game should be arriving later this year from Ubisoft's Barcelona Mobile studio.
