To me, the lack of development of their relationship with River will always be one of Doctor Who's greatest failures. Season 6 is not the worst. Season 7 is the worst. Season 6 is a close second. It's never boring, like S7, but it's got SO much going on and it refuses to deal with any of it in a well-written manner. Link to comment
