Trini November 9, 2020 Share November 9, 2020 I'm not sure if it's an issue with Instagram, or an issue here, but it seems that Instagram posts are no longer able to be embedded? I'm not the only one who has noticed this. Fixable? Link to comment

Trini November 16, 2020 Author Share November 16, 2020 Yes. Previously, I'd copy+paste the link of an Instagram post and it would automatically embed, but now it gives the "The link could not be embedded because an error occurred on www.instagram.com" error message. And I cannot see previously posted Instagram posts anymore. I thought this was a systemwide issue because I did see one other person mention the same problem; but if this is a problem with my browser/whatever, that'd be good to know for sure. https://www.instagram.com/p/CHSAVLBhIrx/ Link to comment

Jaded December 21, 2020 Share December 21, 2020 Facebook videos quit embedding a long time ago. I know they did at one time and was wondering if they would ever do so here again. Link to comment
Meredith Quill December 23, 2020 Share December 23, 2020 I've sent another ticket to the devs regarding this. 1 Link to comment
Meredith Quill December 24, 2020 Share December 24, 2020 The news isn't great I'm afraid. Facebook/Instagram recently changed their rules for applications and API calls for embeds. This means embedding content from them is not possible at this time and for the foreseeable future. Link to comment
