911 call takers are faced with a variety of local emergencies that sometimes hit too close to home. Witness 911 call takers in New Orleans, Louisiana; Wasilla, Alaska; Waukesha, Wisconsin; and Austin, Texas, as they help a badly injured teenage girl whose description matches that of a fellow dispatcher’s daughter, a woman hiding from her drunk and enraged husband, a veteran who is threatening self-harm and a man who fell two-stories down onto a boat dock.

I'm really enjoying this show, despite only phone calls and no re-enactments. Some of those overhead shots really look like models, what do you think?

I don't mind not having any reenactments.  I still get super stressed and concerned lol. 

I haven't been paying that close attention to overhead shots, so I can't say for sure.  I would think it would be cheaper to just get a camera-man up in a helicopter for an hour or so rather than building models, but I don't really know.
