But more than that, it is a story of an American boy, and a dream that is truly American." It turns out that this is lifted from the movie "The Jackie Robinson Story." It is literally Atticus's dream within the story, as we find out he is napping on the bus, but it is also a statement about more broadly about Atticus and what his character represents. ---------- Atticus: "Good riddance to old Jim Crow."
