The Terminal List is a TV Series with all 8 episodes being released on July 1 on Prime Video. The TV Series is based on the best-selling 2018 novel "The Terminal List", the first in a series of books featuring "James Reece" by Jack Carr, a former Navy SEAL and special ops team leader. The TV Series follows James Reece after his entire platoon of Navy SEALs is ambushed during a high-stakes covert mission. Reece returns home to his family with conflicting memories of the event and questions about his culpability. However, as new evidence comes to light, Reece discovers dark forces working against him, endangering not only his life, but the lives of those he loves.

Riley Keough plays Lauren Reece, an elite triathlete and a warrior in her own right. Lauren has balanced her career with raising their daughter Lucy and providing vital support to other platoon families when her husband James and his SEAL Troop are deployed. While the majority of SEAL marriages fall apart, Lauren and James have made it through on honesty, mental toughness, and undying love.

Constance Wu plays Katie Buranek, a risk-seeking war correspondent who uses her byline to speak truth to power. Katie left her desk at a prestigious news outlet to pursue high-impact stories on her own terms. Now at a crossroads in her career, she finds an unlikely ally in rogue Navy SEAL James Reece. She seeks to re-enter the mainstream by bringing the truth about Reece and the conspiracy he’s fighting against to light.

Jeanne Tripplehorn plays Lorraine Hartley, the first female Secretary of Defense. Ambitious, savvy, and armed with a rough-hewn sense of humor, Hartley rose up the chain of command promoting a numbers-driven strategy that leaned heavily on SpecOps. But when tragedy strikes the Navy SEAL community, Hartley must act to protect James Reece and these valued warriors while grappling with the consequences of her own directives.

Jai Courtney plays Steve Horn, the billionaire kingpin behind Capstone Industries, an enormously successful global fund with its hand in everything from pharmaceuticals to fashion. But his bread and butter is capitalizing on the latest military trends and innovations. Horn’s hubris and influence are equally threatening, and will put him squarely in the crosshairs of Navy SEAL James Reece.

JD Pardo plays Tony Layun, one of the youngest leaders of an FBI Task Force, he leads his team with veracity and stalwart determination. He’s hell-bent on finding his fugitive and is merciless when it comes to bringing justice to bear. But while his work is simple, his home-life is complicated, and his family is what motivates him to make the world a better, safer place.

Patrick Schwarzenegger plays Donny Mitchell, Special Warfare Operator 2nd Class, the baby-faced youngest member of Reece’s team, fresh out of training. As the platoon’s point man, Donny is the first to lead the team into unsecured territory. While the other guys on Reece’s team crack jokes as a way to cope with what they’ve seen, Donny’s feisty sense of humor is different… he’s only seen the brotherhood of the SEALs in times of strength, never in times of suffering. 

LaMonica Garrett plays Commander  Bill Cox, a strong institutionalist who never loses sight of the greater mission — he preaches integrity, honor and trust, and knows a SEAL’s actions always reflect on the uniform. He remains a bulldog even in the face of imminent threat. 

Jared Shaw plays Ernest ‘Boozer’ Vickers, a former Navy SEAL, beloved by his Navy SEAL brothers, his goodwill is a welcome reprieve from the burden of war. Boozer refuses to be bowed by loss and does what he can to help James Reece cope with grief.

Christina Vidal Mitchell plays Mac Wilson, a U.S. Marshal and number two on the San Diego Fugitive Task Force. Sharp, witty, and tough as nails, Mac is an invaluable asset in the hunt for James Reece. She, herself, was former Military before joining the U.S. Marshals, and in another world, she might be friends with her target. But Mac doesn’t believe operators should function as judge, jury, and executioner. And she won’t rest until the rogue Navy SEAL is apprehended.

Alexis Louder plays Nicole Deptula, a junior FBI agent and mother of two. She’s a “company gal” through and through. While her colleagues would kill for a high-profile incoming case involving Navy SEAL James Reece, Nicole quietly might be hoping things stay the course. But regardless, she’s always ready for battle.

Tyner Rushing plays Liz Riley,  a former Army pilot from Alabama, who is James Reece’s close friend. Her friends mean everything to her. Since James Reece and her have been to hell and back together, there’s no danger she wouldn’t face for him.
