Not sure what his father meant by "he's a vagabond."  He might think that if you're not permanent full-time with a company, then you're not really working. That's a pretty old-fashioned way of thinking these days.

This is a good point.  My parents are of a similar mindset, that everyone should work non-stop to retirement.  My guess is that Steve is fine financially.  Probably had 6 months in savings, got 4-6 months salary buyout from the layoff, and then collected unemployment.  That said, if you are going to have kids there can be medical risks / concerns and private insurance is expensive so at least one of them should have good benefits.  Noi said she wants 3 kids and if she does 6 months maternity with each one that is 18 mo off of her career to consider.  Maybe they should skip the kids and get a free cat from Lindsay ;)

  2. I’m really impressed with how Mark handled the situation.  He is coming across as very kind and concerned for others.  I hope he finds some happiness because it seems he’s being doing a lot of caretaking of others.

I am growing to strongly dislike Olajuwon.  He kept cutting Katina off and talking over her.  The way he responded to her friend at brunch was rude and immature.  If Olajuwon disagreed with what the friend said then have a dialogue and refute it, but don’t demand a “stand with me or against me” approach.  He comes across as very shallow and bland.  It’s like he’s gotten by all his adult life on his body (his face ain’t much to look at) and athletic ability.  There have been multiple episodes and he hasn’t shown anything likable about him.  It’s kind of pathetic.

  3. At this point Rayna needs to apologize to Heather for being rude and unprofessional.  So relieved this season is coming to an end.  It is a real dud.  Both Fraser and Jake talking about their next boats makes me nervous we are going to see them on the next BD adventure.  That’s a hard pass for me.

Lindsey basically told Mark he's not attractive. She was telling him how the other brides are foolish for expecting/wanting a muscular good-looking husband, but he's lucky because she know it's not all about looks. Gee, thanks.

This was funny to me because before the weddings she was the bride most focused on physical features - constantly talking about D size and chiclet teeth.

I think Alyssa is a huge ass for not going down the aisle with her dad.  Her dad wasn’t watching the wedding on zoom from a hospital bed, he was seated at the end of the damn aisle so he had to get there somehow.  Plenty of brides are escorted by dads in wheelchairs or walkers, or the brides supporting their dad during the walk.  It was a bitch move for her to be the center focus and “star” of her own wedding.

Seems somewhere the question was asked ‘are they still together’?

I hope so. I really liked them.

The question came up because they cancelled a promotional trip.  I read since then they have posted together on IG and the trip is rescheduled for next year so all appears OK with them.

I think if I were Rayna I would be most PO'd about the fact that no one in the chain of command thought this incident warranted a sit down with Heather.

I think the reason Lee and Eddie aren’t talking to Heather is production.  If Heather gets reprimanded then Rayna needs to be reprimanded as well since she also said it.  Bravo is gross.

I think Chris is a good looking guy - sure, not a model, but handsome enough. He takes care with his appearance, has good taste in clothes and seems to present himself appropriately for the occasion. Moreover, he seems like a nice guy who works hard and is eager to be married and have a family.

I've dated worse, until I lucked out and found my amazing husband.

I also think Chris is a good looking guy.  If one of my friends was dating him I’d be thrilled for her.  He’s cute, kind, good job, and wants to be in a relationship.  I think he’s the only one of the guys on this show I would approve of for a friend.  All the others have some serious red flags.

I don’t get the Piacaao thing. You are owning a home with 8 strangers?

It will be interesting to see how the Picasso model evolves.  Many communities, like Napa, have banned Airbnb / VRBO / etc.   Part of Picasso’s success is that it is skirting the Airbnb bans.  Those communities are now trying to find a way to restrict Picasso.

  10. Wish they would replay the clip of Rayna and Heather because I thought Rayna used the word first, but it’s been so long I can’t be sure how it went down.  Was it repeating song lyrics?  Not saying anyone is right or wrong here (‘cause there’s a lot of wrong here to unpack), but wonder if everyone that Rayna is complaining to would perceive the situation differently if she said “I sang a song lyric with that word and then Heather sang it back to me” instead of “Heather used that word and I’m so angry and upset”.  What about Rayna telling Wes she wouldn’t date him because of his skin tone / color?  How did Wes feel about that? This season is really sucking and if Rayna is back next year I absolutely won’t be watching.

I don't know anything about this, but my guess is it won't matter if it was a loan or not.  Money was going into her business that belonged to Tom's clients, so she should be liable for paying it back.  Just like it doesn't matter if Tom used the money to buy her jewelry, I don't think it matters that he used the money to buy her a hobby - it's still funds obtained illegally and is required to be returned.

At the same time, it is Erika's name as the business owner, and her signatures on taxes.  If she didn't report that money that Tom stole and put into her business, then she's also liable for back taxes and penalties and perjury.  If she did report it as a loan and it wasn't, then that's fraud.

The lawyer who was being interviewed said that while we all would expect this from a common sense perspective, from a legal perspective it is highly unlikely.  Erika’s lawyers could claim she “performed” at Girardi events so those are fees since there isn’t a loan document in evidence.  Or, they could claim that it was a business investment and the business failed so there’s nothing to recover.  Again, I hope all this is wrong and that she has to turn over everything of value.  Posting this here in case anyone knows if there is a loan doc in evidence or of another legal opinion on how the victims can get access to the money.  If this lawyer’s take is correct I wonder if Tom, and Erika, set things up this way as a strategy.  Can’t imagine any lawyer doing a $MM loan and not doing a contract.

But I do believe she will be on the hook for every dime that went into her LLC.

Not sure if true or not, but heard that while Tom booked it as a loan on the Girardi law books they haven’t found any loan documents between Girardi law and Erika’s LLC.  And, the money was transferred in multiple loans/payments which makes it really hard to track.  Because of this it is speculated she won’t have to pay anything back because it can’t be proven what monies are an actual loan.  I hope all of this is wrong and she is on the hook for everything plus interest.  If anyone has facts about this please share.

Why is Rachel serving giant leg bones?  Dude seemed to really like it though.

It went with the 80s theme of steak and lobster. In the 80s massive “cowboy steaks” were a thing.  Kind of like seafood towers were a thing 10 years ago.

Agree with y’all that sober Rachel is a vey pleasant surprise.  Hope she keeps it up through the whole season.
