[S04.E08: The Mountain And The Viper 2014.06.01]

The fight didn't occupy as much as the episode ad I expected it to, but that's okay, because ultimately we got what we've really all been waiting two week to see:

an unbelievably long speech about beetles that actually manages to do the impossible and make Peter Dinklage boring.

Maybe his backup plan is he'll tell that same story again, put everybody to sleep, and escape.

I really disliked that speech and even more so on rewatch. I wonder if that was original book material but won't dare look in the book thread.

I'm sure I'm not alone in this but I totally love Sansa and Littlefinger! They've got loads of chemistry and I like this side of her. She knows how to play the game and it's fun to watch.

Really bummed about Oberyn. No clue what will happen next.

So did Ramsey kill all those people that Theon promised would be safe? His storyline makes me sad.

Ygritte was badass and it was unnerving but glad she let Gilly live.

What does it mean to be a goat. Everyone kept talking about how Kass was a goat, bring the goat to final 2, etc. What does that mean?

 

Probst spent way too much time shmucking it up with the audience (yes, kids are great, but snuffing their torches is creepy).

When he did that I seriously thought that would be the next survivor twist. An all kids version. So relieved when it was revealed it would be blood v water 2.0.

[S04.E07: Mockingbird]

Upon re watch I sensed much more chemistry between danerys and Dario 2.0. Disappointed that there was no hot sex scene between them. I wonder why they made that choice. IMO the only hot sex scene we ever got was Dany and Drogo when she wanted to "look upon your face."

Did anyone notice she sounded a bit like Dracula when she said "take off your clothes." Reminded me of "I want to suck your blood."

Ive always wondered this. If there are 9 jury members why did they have a final 3 for so many years and risk a tie?

I like final 2 much better. Has it been since Australian Outback that we had a final 2?
