  1. When Remy and Jackie got back together, I knew Frank and Claire were done. Can't have 2 power couples. Also, I'm kind of obsessed with Remy and Jackie. I think those crazy kids can make it. And by make it I mean they'll end up hating each other by he end of Season 4, but what great fun we'll have with them in between!
  2. Yes. Why couldn't Jarvis have been saved by Cap behind enemy lines though? He did say he was in the war. We don't know in detail what he did over there. I don't think he's ruled out.
  3. Really seems like the husband is Sousa, in which case big yawn from me. Way too obvious from the very beginning. How would I describe the guy in one word? "Nice." I wanted whomever Peggy ended up with to have just as much of a spark as her. She has so much more chemistry with Jarvis and Howard, her "platonic" best friend, which I think is quite telling. It's a safe choice, for a woman who likes to be anything but. Other than that, I enjoyed the episode. It wasn't my favorite of the season, but a solid one. As I said, she had great moments with Jarvis and Howard especially. I like that Dottie got away. If there is a season 2, I'm excited for that cat and mouse game to ensue. Guess Sousa will be getting some sort of bionic leg from Howard? I suppose that's what the "I can help you with that" line meant. On an unrelated note, I'm not an Agents of Shield watcher but the promo doesn't sell me on it. Maybe I'm just salty it's replacing our Peggy.
  4. Loved your X-Files reference. Pine Bluff Variant - GREAT Season 5 episode. So many classic moments. I really liked the episode, especially the part when Peggy spells out for all three of the men why they unestimated her. The "wounded kitten", "woman on a pedestal", and "secretary turned damsel in distress." NAILED it. I also loved when she pointed out that literally all of this ridiculous situation could have been avoided if they had treated her like a human person and listened to her from Day 1 when she said Howard Stark wasn't capable of this kind of thing. Peggy and Jarvis continue to slay me. I love their dynamic. And I couldn't help but notice that Jarvis never fit Peggy into one of the three categories the other men did. He respected her as an equal from the start. Not even Howard did that.
  5. I get that this makes me a bad person and that I said I wasn't before but...now I'm really rooting for the death of Anna Jarvis.
  6. I completely agree. I really can't watch that scene anymore now that I "know her". It's honestly one of the most heartbreaking things I've seen a movie in a long time.
  7. But seriously is there ANY way they can bring Peggy in her youth into the modern MCU? Sharon has been big time MEH to me. No one compares to Peggy.
  8. It can't be Dugan because in CA:TWS, Peggy says she didn't know her husband had been saved by Steve until after "knowing him for some time" (or maybe she said "dating him for some time.") At any rate, Peggy knows all of the Commandos that Steve saved in the instance her husband was saved, so it can't be him (or likely Gabe either).
  9. Theory: Ana Jarvis dies in some sad way. Jarvis and Peggy both relate to one another over the loss of losing true love prematurely. Jarvis was the guy all along. I'm not wishing the death of a this woman by any means, but I'm thinking it's a likely scenario.
  10. Best episode of the set. Didn't think I was going to like this show, but man I do. Loved her rapport with the Commandos and growing respect / relationship with Thompson. I liked that he and Sousa have seemed to switch roles at this point - one man stepping in her court, while the other sprints outs. Excited to see the Sousa showdown (and I'm calling that he'll finally reveal he doesn't have a fake leg). Loved the Dottie characterization. I can't decide if she wants to use Peggy or kill her, but in either case there seems to be some serious, next-level, Single-White-Female business going down. If Dottie dyes her hair brown and starts wearing navy and scarlet, I think we're in trouble. So creepy in a great way. I really hope the show continues to put her out in the field.
  11. Upon re-watch of the first 4 episodes, I gotta say guys...it really looks like Thompson is the guy. I think tonight's episode will support that idea further. It's just the more interesting way to go, and it feels like that's where the writers are taking it... If done correctly, I'm sold. I know that's a big point of contention around here though. Starting to think Sousa's a monster. Sousa is way too obvious a choice for a husband, I'm thinking maybe that peg leg is fake, and he's been onto Peggy's double agent status for a while. Someone is Hydra or Leviathan related in that office and it's not Thompson (why paint him as an adversary from the beginning only to have the big reveal be that he's...an adversary...as told to us from scene 1...we got it.) Sousa makes more sense. I would personally be bored if it turned out that Sousa was as flat a character as he seems. I know Enver is a good actor...they just haven't given him a lot of work with in this role.
