  1. I don't understand why people are hating the Green team. For me it only comes down to 5 things when I hate someone in The Amazing Race: * They are being mean * Being unsupportive of their partner, repeatedly * Cheating * Not enjoying the race * Trying to win by manipulating other teams more then actual racing 4 and 5 certainly can go together, same with 3. Ofc other things might happen that so far are unprecedented in the history of TAR. So i didn't hate the Cho brothers(back in TAR10-12?) because even if their strategy was stupid their heart was in the right spot. I didn't like Rob because he thought he was more then race, being humble to the race is important. Green team is supportive of each other. Taking care to make sure that their relationship is intact. Sure Justin might be forceful but he also seems open to admitting he screwed up. Witch he has done in the race, both the admitting and the screwing up parts. They are treating other teams nice. Trying to pact and stuff like that but not talking shit behind anyone's back. That the other teams are lacking is not their fault. They can't be blamed for casting. No cheating and they are enjoying every bit of the race. *The reporters seems to be there mostly to further a TV career. Very bland and neutral people. On any other season they would have melted into the background. * The Cheerleaders are to full of clueless and spunk and lacking in actual race intelligence. They have skills and they are strong on those areas (the hop scotch being the best example) but overall they are a ticking time bomb. Add that they lied to cover up their u-turn, seems to think that their flirting can solve anything and confuses what show this is whenever the Texas boys are there. * The mother and son are just not a strong team. Skating by more then advancing. I'm sure there is more drama to be mined from them but we aren't seeing much of anything from their past problems so far. * Paparazzis are just mean people. Both to each other and to other contestants. Slimy bunch * Texans are a team that benefits from being humbled so that we can see their more positive sides. The frat athletics are a tired cliche and one that grows old fast. I have enjoyed them more when they weren't obsessed with themselves and the green team.
  2. Did they state that the Texans gave all their money? if not it looked like they picked a bill and handed it over, nothing about it being everything they had. I remember Justin adding coins and several bills. I'm not heavily invested in this season. My race fanatic got his perfect win with Nat&Kat. I also very much liked TK&Rachel. A bit bored with the reporters who feels plastic. Frustrated with the TrackTeam who should be doing better. Hoping that the Cheerleaders will leave soon. Also the Paparazzis. Hey Cindy&Rick might be the surprise of this season if they will continue to work well and keep a positive attitude toward
  3. I would like to think that some teams still apply on their own but it wouldn't suprise me if production handpicked them all. They aren't mutally exclusive. One of the joys on being on the race is so others can see you being on the race. Both locals and us viewers, it is afterall a tv-show. So far he has been gushing over everything that has come his way and never intenially done something that would offend anyone. He just seems to want do everything he can do.
  4. I'm starting to dislike the teams that seems to be on the race for reality reasons. The reporters feels like one. Might have been scouted by the production. They seem to be fine racers and nice people but I keep asking myself why are they on the race? Where is the fire in their bellies. Texasteam and Justin are certainly something that will explode later in the show. The hatred that Texas, one moreso then the other, has taken to Justin is odd. It certainly feels like there is something more then Justin being ON. For instance, normally he is someone they would just make fun off and then go home with the girls they picked up. Now they can't treat him like that and he even had the audacity to win against them. Or he reminds them of someone from their past. It's odd since Justin hasn't done anything against them except being better in one or two tasks and being loud. Justin reminds me of Rob but there is one big difference. I see no meanness in Justin. He's like a big child who got the permission to pick what he wants in the candystore. I don't see it as mugging more then I see it as just being so happy and in the moment that he wants to interact with everything. He has been watching this for so long and as everyone keeps saying over and over again on this forum he is enjoying everything about the race. The big difference is that he's not as in tune with what the race thinks about him. I would also dance with the fiesta-girl but would probably be really sensitvie to if she didn't appreciate it. Same with the judges on tasks. Also his partner might be even more race driven then he is. She seems very focused on what to do and probably is compensating because/to allow him to be all over the place. So fas she seems to be a very competent partner and it must feel wonderful for him that the woman he loves is so into the race and good at it. TeamTexas might be pretty but that doesn't score any points with me. I see nothing but bullies in them so far. They should focus on running the race instead of trying to get someone out. Teams like that bore me. The other teams haven't left much of an impression yet. The more profilic teams have left and now we are down to more standard teams. With the exception of the mother and son who isn't that entertaining and will probably blow up soon.
  5. Just one roadblock shy of making it a great finale. If they would have picked a challening roadblock before the skydive it would have been more fun. Or perhaps switched the lightbulb one for a harder. So typical though, a Vegas finale with more focus on making it a spectacle and visual entertaining. Glad Dave and Connor won. Dave can whine and played the age card to much. But the man is the oldest winner and tore his achilles last season. He must have been terrified of letting his son "down" every step of the way. Overall 2 nice people who raced a clean good race. It's been a while since a winning team was so much liked by the other teams, a joy to watch the other teams being happy for them. Brenchel. So very happy they didn't win. You dont' pray for others misfortune, especially over a game show. They sure came of as a selfcentered team that was good when things where going their way and buckled when it didn't. I loved it when Connor snapped at them for continuing to throw their dirt in D&C's hole. So unnecessary to bring the race to that level. Rachel has a strong tunnel vision that doesn't help them in the long run. She's allways the victim and never the culprit. Brendon showed bursts of bad temper and judgement. Don't remember him doing that last season, but maybe that's just my memory.
